Diyora Shadijanova

Hi, I’m Diyora and I’m a British-Uzbek multimedia journalist, writer, editor and strategic communicator based in London.

I currently work in Parliament as a Communications Officer to an MP.

Outside of this, I am a columnist for Hyphen, and write for a variety of publications including The Guardian, Dazed, The i and many more. I also contribute to current affairs podcasts and other broadcast media.

I’m a co-founder of hothouse bookclub — a London-based digital and in-person book club about climate change with over 300 members. I also regularly present, host, and speak at events on culture, social justice, and the environment.

I am represented by Emma Bal at the Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency.
